West Vail

West Vail

Welcome to West Vail

West Vail surrounds both sides of the frontage road—with North and South neighborhoods. Residents enjoy plenty of sunshine, aspen groves, and lush valley views.  West Vail is home to grocery & liquor stores, hardware stores as well as bars and restaurants.  The free Town of Vail bus conveniently loops between the two neighborhoods via the Vail transportation center. The North side of West Vail offers great biking and hiking trails with incredible mountainous views.

Tall pine trees, a paved bike path, and the rushing Gore Creek are highlights of the south-side neighborhood of West Vail. With plenty of pocket parks and fly-fishing access, there is something for everyone in West Vail. This close-knit community has a variety of residences ranging from modest ski condos to luxury single-family homes.

Homes in this area tend to be less expensive than Vail or Lionshead, yet still conveniently close to world-class skiing and resort living. Wildlife abounds much to the delight of locals and guests alike!
